As regarding our activities the structure of SIEI can be sketched out in the following way:
OUR GOALS:
Our main mission is to work for the PRESERVATION OF SIBERIAN NATURE FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS.
Nowadays, Siberia is facing ecological problems despite it reminds one of the biggest natural reserve of the world. Through our activities we want to secure the lasting existence of intact nature segments, here, in Russia.
Today our objective is to establish and strengthen general awareness of geo/biodiversity of Siberia as well as to promote the recognition of both its intrinsic value and its importance for the quality of life. We want to exchange knowledge of everyone about Siberian Nature.
Our strategies are focused on the development of international cooperations with universities or departments of research, but also with international conservation organisations. We are also looking for strengthening the environmental education for Siberian children and for promoting Siberian natural spots to a large public.
We work on these goals by different ways that coincide with main sets of our activities:

Set of activities # 1
Environmental/ecological education and enlightenment of Siberian children between the ages of 9 and 13 (more info...)

Set of activities # 2
Organization of protected areas in Siberia (more info...)

Set of activities # 3

Set of activities # 4
Organization of ecological summer schools, scientific excursions and other educational events across Siberia and Central Asia for Russian and foreign undergraduate and graduate students and scientists (more info...)
